API cannot be added whilst you are confirming your booking. This can be added later.
If you are travelling on an Identity Card, Your API cannot be completed online and will be collected at check-in.
Can I fill in API at the airport?
If you are unable to enter your API online (or incur an issue with this), this can be submitted at check-in on your day of departure. However please allow extra time to check-in at the desk.
Once your flight booking has been confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address provided at time of booking. If you are flying with RonanAir, you are no longer required to present a printed copy of your confirmation or travel document to check-in for your flight. You will require a valid passport for each passenger travelling. We do recommend you have a copy of your latest documents with you when you travel either electronically or printed to re-confirm what you have booked. As we are a ticketless airline, we are unable to send copies by post.
Please be advised, if you have made your booking through an agent please contact them directly as the travel documents will be sent to them directly.
Please remember to check your Spam, Junk or Trash folders as your email provider may have blocked your travel documents.
We require your First Name and Surname exactly as it appears on your Passport.
Middle names are not required at booking stage, these will be taken when you submit your Advance Passenger Information. (If required)
If you have a double-barrelled surname, please enter this with a space in place of the hyphen.
The gender of the passenger must be correct and as per the passport.
If you have booked a package holiday and your details are incorrect on our website, please call your Booking Agent as soon as possible as charges may apply to correct any inaccuracies at the airport.
Our confirmation itinerary will be sent immediately after you complete your booking - please check your email for details.
Please remember to check your spam, junk or trash folders as your email provider may have blocked your confirmation.
If you need to apply for a passport or renew an expired passport, you should do so well in advance of travel and at least four weeks before. (If you are 16 or over and have never had a passport in your own name, you should apply for one at least six weeks before your holiday).
What is a machine readable Passport?
A machine-readable passport is a passport which has the holder's personal details, (name, date of birth, Nationality and passport number), contained in two lines of text and chevrons (" >>>>> ") at the bottom of the photo page. These two lines can be read by a machine on arrival or departure. All newly issued passports are now machine-readable. If you are unsure whether your passport is machine readable, ask at the time of booking, or contact the relevent Passport Office for further details.
IMPORTANT information for INDIA and USA
Please be aware that the Authorities in India and USA have changed the rules regarding passports. Customers travelling will only be allowed entry if they have a machine readable passport.
Indian nationals who are returning to the country and who hold non-machine readable passports will continue to be accepted.
IMPORTANT information for INDIA/USA: Customers travelling to India or USA, will need to present a machine readable passport on entry into the country. India/USA will refuse customers with non-readable passports for non-Indian/USA nationals.
Please Note: Indian nationals who are returning to the country and who hold non-machine readable passports will continue to be accepted until further notice. Passengers wishing to travel on Thomas Cook Airlines are required to hold a valid passport and any necessary visas, where required.
Please note: that if your photographic ID is damaged in any way it may not be accepted.
Non-British Citizen Passport holders: may require visas to enter countries which are signatories to the Schengen agreement and contact should be made with the appropriate consulate or embassy for clarification.
Passport validity: A valid passport is essential when you travel abroad. Although passports have been issued for 10 years (5 years for children) you should note that some overseas countries have an immigration requirement for a passport to remain valid for a minimum period after the date of entry to that country (typically 6 months). If your passport is in its final year of validity, please check the requirements of the destination before you make your final travel plans.
Your responsibility: It is the responsibility of passengers to ensure they have valid, acceptable passports and any required visa or any other documentation for the travel they are to undertake. Passengers without the correct documentation may be refused carriage by the airline or entry into any country. Where entry is refused, fines or other financial penalty will be imposed on or by the airline and the passenger(s) concerned will be required to immediately return to their country of departure. Any passenger who travels without the required passport/visa/other documentation is solely responsible for and must immediately pay all fines, surcharges, other financial penalty, costs (including the cost of their immediate return flight) and any other sums of any description which are incurred or imposed by the airline or incurred by ourselves. This will be the case regardless of whether the lack of correct documentation is spotted at the departure airport. We can accept no liability in this situation and no compensation, expenses, refund or other sum will be paid.
Names: The name on the passport must match the name on the ticket or emailed itinerary, otherwise you may not be able to travel and insurance may be invalid. If, after booking a flight, but before travelling, any member of your party changes their name, e.g. as a result of getting married, we must be notified immediately so that we can make the necessary changes to your flight documentation (for which we will charge an amendment fee).
At the time of booking, please ensure you supply your first name and surname, (as they appear on your passport) as both of these must be stated on your flight ticket. This will reduce confusion and delays at check-in, especially when travelling to the USA. It is anticipated that customers could face more queries and delays as more countries introduce Advance Passenger Information systems. You may not be able to travel and insurance may be invalid if the name on your passport and travel documents don't match.
All passengers travelling on a RonanAir flight require a passport of their own. This includes children and infants. Children and infants cannot travel as part of the parent/guardian's passport.
The contact details do not need to be the same as the passenger details.
However, would recommend you keep the lead passenger and contact details the same as any communications, we are required to send, would then be sent directly to the lead passenger.
On completion of any changes to your booking, you will receive a new email from RonanAir.com within 30 minutes
