API cannot be added whilst you are confirming your booking. This can be added later at the airport.
Below is a list of the destinations that require API before travel. If you are travelling to one of these destinations, please add your Advanced Passenger Information once your booking has been confirmed up to 75 hours before travel ( Cape Verde - no later than 10 days before travel). If your destination is not listed, API is not required before travel.
Important: If you are travelling to Cape Verde please refer to the information under "Do I need a Visa for Cape Verde?" for more information.
If you are travelling on an Identity Card, Your API cannot be completed online and will be collected at check-in.
Can I fill in API at the airport?
If you are unable to enter your API online (or incur an issue with this), this can be submitted at check-in on your day of departure. However please allow extra time to check-in at the desk.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you didn’t book your flights directly with RonanAir, or you have bought your flight as part of a package holiday, you’ll need to contact your Travel Agent/Tour Operator to ask for a cancellation invoice.
For those of you who have booked with RonanAir directly, if you need to cancel your reservation in part, or full please call our Sales & Service team on TBN who will be happy to arrange this for you. In order to cancel you will need to be the primary contact, which you registered on line when making your booking, and you’ll need your booking reference handy, which you can find on your RonanAir itinerary. Your cancellation options will depend on the type of ticket you have booked and you can see further details of our terms and conditions on our website
Refund of taxes
You are entitled to claim a refund of the airport tax for any flight you have not travelled on, where this departs from the EU. If you’d like to reclaim these charges we can arrange this for you through our Sales & Service team. There may be an administration fee to do this and we will then send you an invoice outlining the full charges for your cancellation, and the taxes will be returned to the card that was used when the booking was made.
If the reason for your cancellation is covered by your Travel Insurance policy, you may be asked to provide a letter to confirm you did not travel. The RonanAir cancellation invoices provides details of the applicable charges, and confirms the cancellation, so by default, confirms your non-attendance on the flight. This should be sufficient to support any Insurance Claim you may wish to make.
